I ALMOST wasn't going to write anything tonight, but it's like an addiction. I can't stop! I tried...but I failed. Today I pretty much slept till I couldn't sleep no more. I got up, showered, did my make up and hair, but I waited till the last second to get dressed. Tonite was date nite....and Aiden would surely get drool or something that would show up nicely on my little black dress. I was nervous all day about leaving Aiden...worried that he would freak out. (typical mom!)I went out and played with Aiden a little bit...got my luv muffin fill, then got dressed. When our second nurse arrived, Juan and I sneaked out.
We headed out to Downtown LaGrange, quaint little town, and went to Francesca's...a really authentic Italian Restaurant. We celebrated in style! Of course I ordered myself a Cosmopolitan! Those who know me knows that's a given! Dinner was AMAZING! Not only were the appetizers out of this world...Spinach Oglio (I dunno the name...but was unbelievably good) and Calamari. For dinner, I had a Tilapia dish...wow was it goooood...and Juan had a jumbo shrimp and scallop dish. He seemed more than pleased! Before dinner was over...I ordered another Cosmo...it WAS my birthday celebration after all... and we ordered dessert. One word...Tiramisu!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was decadent...divine! After dinner, we took a walk to the water fountain and sat on a bench for a while and just talked...such a rare treat. It was a gorgeous nite! We started to miss our Luv Muffin, so we headed home.
Aiden was so excited when we got home. It was funny because the first thing he did was go straight for my shoes. Teehee...he's got good taste! Our nurse for the evening, Tina, had a blast! It was only her second time with Aiden, but she's going to be our Wednesday nurse starting next week. She's wonderful! She left at 10pm and we got Aiden all ready for bed. I guess he really missed us...it's rare that both mom and dad are gone at the same time. I promised him it wouldn't happen often. Well...that was our evening...our hot date. I didn't want to forget it. They come far and few between! I better get Aiden's feeding going and get myself ready for bed. Tomorrow we are going over to Rich's house. It'll be good to see Mom! Good nite and sweet dreams!
